Was inspired by Glenville Kleiser's, The Bridge You Will Never Cross and copied it out by hand for herself to enjoy... 1989

                                         Ikonya Monica 28.08.1967 - 28. 10. 2014

of Democratic Kenya, she used to call herself...

Year 1989, on 10. 06. 89 we lost Peter Clement Ikonya. He was murdered. Justice never gave us an answer. Monika was never the same again. That may have been the origin of her addiction and desperation which was never of spirit. No need to explain but murder double, triple murders.... So take care. I took her to hospital in her black outs those days. I know. Half an hour to Nairobi Hospital and still she was away.

And when she came to she wanted to be a nun so she tried several convents but in her way she was saying something. That did not work as well. Monika means a lot to us so we press for meaning here but we have accept her crossing bridges!

The Bridge You'll Never Cross
                By Glenville Kleiser

It's what you think that makes the world, seem dull or bright to you;
Your mind may color things gray,
Or make them radiant hue.

Be glad today, be true and wise
seek gold amidst the dross;
Waste neither time nor thought about
the BRIDGE you´ll never cross.

There's useful work for you to do
With hands, brains and heart
There's urgent human Service too
In which to take your part

make every opportunity
A gain not loss.
The Best is yours So do not fear
... the Bridge you will never cross.

If life seems drab and difficult
Just face it with a will
you do not have to work alone
SINCE GOD IS WITH YOU STILL!

Press on with Courage toward the goal
With your shield embossed
BE STRONG, LOOK UP AND JUST IGNORE
THE BRIDGE YOU'LL NEVER CROSS
